Lisa Fraser has served as executive director of Center for Family Strengthening – the Child Abuse Prevention Council of San Luis Obispo County since 2001. In July 2016, The LINK Family Resource Center hired her to provide executive director services and oversee a Nonprofit Administrative Consolidation for both organizations.  With the support of the California Office of Child Abuse Prevention, Lisa provides community leadership and promotes Family Resource Centers as a primary approach to protecting children from neglect and abuse. In addition to her duties as Executive Director, Lisa represents Center for Family Strengthening and The LINK Family Resource Center on the following planning tables and provides key strategic planning:

• Strategies 2.0 Southern California Learning Community (facilitator)

• San Luis Obispo County Children Services Network

• San Luis Obispo County Child Care Planning Council

• Coastal Tri-Counties Child Abuse Prevention Coalition (Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo & Ventura)

• Martha’s Place, an assessment and treatment center for at-risk children (founder)

• Parent Connection, a county-wide system of parent education resources and coaching services (design/launch) 

• Cuesta Community College (2016 Women of Distinction awardee)

• Accredited Child Advocacy Center, San Luis Obispo County (founder)
