Andria Barnes Ruth, MD

Dr. Ruth received her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale College and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Boston where she was the chief resident and the Dyson Fellow in Pediatric Advocacy and General Pediatrics. After practicing in the General Pediatric Faculty Practice at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, she relocated to Santa Barbara in 2004, where she practices General Pediatrics at the Goleta Neighborhood Clinic, a Federally Qualified Health Center. She has served as the medical director for the Santa Barbara Resiliency Project and co-chair of the Pediatric Resiliency Collaborative, which focuses on screening and intervention for children exposed to adverse childhood experiences and the promotion of resilience for these children and their families.
