Beautiful location

This year we have a new location: the Santa Barbara Hilton Beachfront Resort! This will give us more space so that we can welcome more attendees from communities throughout Santa Barbara County.

ACEs & Resilience

Across sectors, awareness is growing about the impact of childhood trauma. We know that Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can dramatically impact life outcomes in adulthood. We know that the consistent support of caring adults can strengthen a young person's resilience and promote future success. Now comes the exciting part, as our community begins to build a collaborative, trauma-informed system of care that can improve life for generations of children and families.

Education, inspiration, collaboration!

The BRIDGES TO RESILIENCE conference engages agencies and individuals who interact daily with children, youth and families. It provides practical information from experts to guide your approach in treatment settings, in the classroom, in the living room, and in the community at large. It provides updates on exciting local projects to address ACEs and build resilience. And it builds our capacity for greater collaboration by giving educators, early care providers, social workers, probation officers, law enforcement, health and mental health professionals, resource families, philanthropists and other community partners the opportunity to network with one another. This truly is a cross-sector conference where we focus on building connections and educating our workforce to fuel our ACEs and Resilience movement.
